Obverse: Diademed bust left, trefoil type sceptre to left, inscription around ·CNVT: +RE[CX]. Reverse: Voided short cross with central circle limbs terminating at the inscription around +GODRIC ON STAN:

The obverse legend is transposed on this coin, RECX and CNVT normally appearing on the left and right hand sides of the coin respectively. Dark rust spot in front of the portrait, otherwise a good clear example of a scarce variant. Numerous die matches can be found in the EMC/SCBI databases, good examples include EMC: 1015.3543 (SCBI: 15/1543, Royal Collection Copenhagen) and EMC: 1027.1350 (SCBI: 27/1350, Lincolnshire Collections). Very fine.
