Struck on a full and flat flan without defects. Steel-grey tone, with a hint of iridescence. Some double-striking in the reverse legend, but the lovely portrait more than makes up for this, the coin being very pleasant ‘in the hand’. Scarce, the EMC listing just 11 examples for the mint. gVF/nVF.
